On an unrelated note, a bird built a nest outside our living room window. Max and I watched as she flew back and forth, fetching sticks and putting them in place. (Well, to be perfectly honest, I watched while Max alternated between eating, sleeping, and staring resolutely in the opposite direction).

Our son, Maxwell Charles Vinje, was born on May 5th, 2008 at 7:22 AM

Max was diagnosed with mild jaundice and did not at all care for the phototherapy treatment at first. We had to resort to extreme measures to keep him and ourselves sane:

By the end, though, Max had adjusted to it and as far as we could tell he was basically just chilling out at Club Med:

But chilling out at home is even better.

New Baby, New Blog
